The night before riding the century ride, we decided to spend the night camping in Silver Falls State Park. We were going to camp in our tent, but when we got to the state park,
all the tent sites were completely full! Fortunately, there was one cabin open because the people had to leave early. We took it, of course. In the morning, we rode the century, then stayed in a hotel in Albany the next night (taking advantage of their hot tub, pool, and free breakfast). The next morning, we first picked wild blackberries, filling a cooler to take home, then went hiking around the falls.
This is a rare picture of Rick and Theresa together. They are just heading on the 6 mile trail to view the 10 waterfalls of Silver Falls State Park.

As we were heading back on the trail, we dediced to do this funny self-portrait. Theresa always wondered what the roof of her mouth looked like. :-) After we hiked around, we drove to Silverton and walked around the town. We had a great time on this getaway weekend!
